Before and After School Care Cost
At CABOOSH, we provide high quality, caring, fun and nurturing Christian before and after school care. We are approved for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), an Australian Government initiative which assists families with the cost of child care.
How much does before school care cost?
Our before school care cost is $25 per session* in the mornings, for a permanent booking. We open at 6:30am, meaning that you have plenty of time to drop your kids off before you go to work. This cost includes breakfast during the morning as well as activities inside and outside before we transport them to school on one of our private mini buses, or if attending Camden South Public School they may be walked to school.
How much does after school care cost?
Our after school care cost is $35 per session* for permanent bookings. We collect your children from school either via walking them to our centre if at Camden South Public School or our private mini buses. The fee also includes afternoon tea and fruit as well as an afternoon full of fun indoor and outdoor play, craft and games. We close at 6:30pm, allowing you enough time to pick your child up after work and battling through peak hour traffic.
We also have a full time special of $285* per week which provides you 10 sessions weekly for our before and after school programs during the school term (not available for school holiday / vacation care programs)
*Prices listed above are full price fees as at 1 Jan 2024 for permanent bookings, prior to CCS. Prices subject to 6 monthly review. Casual bookings incur additional fees.
ChildCare Subsidy
The Childcare Subsidy (CCS) can assist you and your family in paying for before and after school care. Replacing the Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate back in 2019, this subsidy helps more families gain access to before and after school care, easing their minds about juggling kids and work.
Can I get Access to the subsidy?
The Childcare Subsidy is accessible to any family that meets the requirements. These requirements include:
Your child being under the age of 13
Your child meets immunisation requirements
You are responsible for paying fees
You meet the residency requirements
How Much Can I Receive?
The amount of money that is subsidised by the government will depend on your income, the hourly rate cap and recognised activities including paid and unpaid work, volunteer work, study or paid and unpaid leave. Under normal circumstances the government will pay up to 90% of your child care fees, helping you have greater peace of mind and keeping your out-of-pocket cost to a minimum. In special cases, you may even be able to access up to 100% government funding through the Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) program.
